DESCRIPTION:Wisdom in the Circle – Conversation about Race and Culture in the 21st Century \nWhen: \n\nWednesday\, June 5 – 6:00-8:00 pm\nWednesday\, June 26 – 6:00-8:00 pm\n\nWhere:  \nFirst Parish in Concord\, 20 Lexington Rd\, Concord\, MA 01742 \nFree and open to the public. No registration is required! \nThe objective of the program is to share personal stories about race in our lives and how we can work toward building the beloved community. \nThis conversation will be structured as a listening circle format\, creating an intentional space for personal and community reflection. It is not a presentation or briefing but a chance to get to know each other through sharing our experiences and deepening relationships. \nIn the 21st century\, we are currently experiencing a relational deficit\, encompassing global differences\, environmental concerns\, and racial and cultural differences. At the heart of all these disparities\, the quality of human relationships has deteriorated\, and we have lost the communal capacity for mutual respect and caring.
