DESCRIPTION:21st Century America: The Re-Emergence of Hate Crimes\nConcord Prison Outreach invites you to our Spring Community Discussion series entitled “21st Century America: The Re-Emergence of Hate Crimes.” \nThis five-week series will examine the intersections between social science data\, cultural attitudes and beliefs\, regionalism\, policymaking\, and health focus interventions. Using a trauma-informed format\, we intend to apply Restorative Justice principles and practices\, breath work\, storytelling\, and active listening skills to explore\, understand\, and develop practical solutions to identify hate motivated crimes in our community. \nLocation: Trinitarian Congregational Church\, 54 Walden Street\, Concord\, MA and via Zoom livestream \nTime: 6:00pm-8:00pm \nMain Speaker: Sam Williams\, Executive Director\, Concord Prison Outreach \nGuest Speaker: Jack McDevitt\, Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice\, Northeastern University \nThis series will be offered both in-person and via Zoom.
