New Podcast Episode: Episode 6 – The Story Behind the Naming the Unnamed Project

We’re excited to share the latest episode of the Concord Prison Outreach podcast, which delves into the heart of one of our most meaningful community projects: Naming the Unnamed.

In this episode, listeners will hear from Sam Williams, Liz Rust, Concord community member Patty Ruze, and CPO’s Volunteer and Program Manager Ellie DiMauro as they explore the origins, evolution, and present-day impact of the Naming the Unnamed project.

What began as an effort to acknowledge the lives of 218 individuals buried in the Concord Reformatory Cemetery, many of them veterans and immigrants, has grown into a deeply collaborative endeavor involving historical research, art, community remembrance, and advocacy.

From uncovering personal stories and systemic patterns to creating space for reflection and healing, this conversation sheds light on how remembering the past can guide us toward a more compassionate and just future.
