CPO’s Annual Community Gathering — Leaving No One Behind

October 22, 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Annual Community Gathering at the Concord Museum. Guests enjoyed exploring the open museum halls and spending time mingling over wine, beer, and refreshments. It was an inspiring evening where volunteers, friends, and supporters of Concord Prison Outreach came together to celebrate our shared commitment to this important work and Leaving No One Behind.

We were honored to hear from Michael J. Tougias, author of The Finest Hours, whose keynote on the power of resilience resonated deeply with all in attendance. In addition, a heartfelt thank you to Mara Dolan of the Governor’s Council, Kevin Richards, BRAVE Unit Manager, and Denny Santos, Department of Corrections, for sharing their thoughtful remarks and powerful perspectives throughout the evening.

Throughout the evening, we were able to highlight our growth as an organization and the vision for the future, including plans to expand programming inside the prison and showcase initiatives like our Holiday Gift Bag Project, which will bring 3,400 people essential items this holiday season.

We are so grateful to everyone who made this event possible!
