WCVB Highlights CPO’s “Naming the Unnamed” Project

Did you see us on TV? CPO’s very own Sam Williams and Liz Rust were featured on WCVB Boston’s Channel 5 for their work on the “Naming the Unnamed” project at the Concord Reformatory Cemetery.

Between 1878 and 1996, a quiet field in Concord served as the official cemetery for the former Concord State Prison. Started in 2021, the goal of the project was to name and remember the 218 men who were laid to rest, previously only identified by numbers.
