Black son-shine by sam williams
Black Son-Shine is a poetry book by Concord Prison Outreach Executive Director Sam Williams.
Through powerful poetry and personal reflection, Williams explores themes of identity, survival, accountability, healing, and transformation. Drawing from his own experiences, he offers an honest examination of the forces that shape our lives and the possibility of change, growth, and redemption.
More than a collection of poems, Black Son-Shine invites readers to reflect on the human experience, challenge assumptions about justice and personal responsibility, and consider the ways support, self-awareness, and perseverance can create lasting transformation.
