Sam Williams Featured in 200th Anniversary of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour
On September 2nd, 2024, The Wright Tavern and the Racial Justice Group at First Parish in Concord, MA, hosted the 200th Anniversary Townwide Celebration of Lafayette’s 1824 Farewell Tour. Among the featured guests was Concord Prison Outreach’s Executive Director, Sam Williams, who wrote and performed a poem in the role of Lafayette during the celebration.
