The Concord Prison Outreach family of Staff, Advisory Board, and Volunteers recently gathered to celebrate the season with a joyful Holiday party and a spirited Yankee Swap that brought plenty of laughter and a few surprises.
Each gift bag is a reminder that there are people “outside the walls” who think of their incarcerated neighbors and wish them a better future, both while they are in prison and after release.
On September 27, 2025, volunteers from the Concord Prison Outreach organization gathered at the Concord Reformatory Cemetery for a day of remembrance and renewal, as we planted over 1,000 daffodil and grape hyacinth bulbs on the outer edges of the cemetery.
On May 18th, 2025, Concord Prison Outreach and members of the community gathered to recognize the lives of veterans buried at the Concord Reformatory Prison Cemetery. Men laid to rest between 1878 and 1996, whose bodies were never claimed by family, but whose stories deserve to be remembered.
