Please note: Our Monthly Dialogues are typically held on the fourth Thursday of each month. November’s Dialogue will take place on the third Thursday due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
November’s Topic: DOC Updates, Programming & Volunteer Engagement
Join us for a special Monthly Dialogue featuring Matt Moniz, Director of Program Services and Reentry, and Chip Harrington, Director of Volunteer Services, at the Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC).
This session will provide volunteers with an opportunity to hear directly from DOC leadership about what’s happening inside Massachusetts correctional facilities, including updates on programs, volunteer engagement, and current initiatives.
Matt and Chip will share insights into ongoing developments within the DOC, discuss opportunities and updates related to programming and volunteer involvement, and answer questions from participants.
This is a great opportunity to stay informed, ask questions, and better understand the work happening inside Massachusetts prisons and how volunteers can continue to make a meaningful impact.
About Our Monthly Dialogues
Our Continuous Education Dialogues offer an engaging and reflective space for volunteers to deepen their understanding, stay informed about developments in the correctional system, and connect with others committed to this work.
Each session provides opportunities to learn, reflect, and strengthen the knowledge and skills needed to serve with compassion, intentionality, and effectiveness.
