Introductory Prison Volunteer Workshop: Train the Trainer Workshop Series

Join us for a dynamic session that equips you with the essential tools and knowledge to excel in prison education. Whether you’re new to this field or seeking to enhance your skills, this training is designed for you. This workshop is open to all volunteers interested in any type of programming.

Leading the workshop will be Donna Heidemann, a seasoned Social Studies Teacher with 30+ years of experience. Donna is a passionate advocate for education within the prison system. As a dedicated volunteer with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections and the Worcester County Jail and House of Correction, Donna is a prominent figure in Restorative Justice, Social Justice, Mentoring, and Social Emotional Learning.
